Transitions Sunroom Additions are made completely of maintenance free vinyl. There is no painting, staining, or ongoing maintenance. The entire room can be wiped down with a damp cloth to keep it looking like new. In addition, unlike aluminum, the color of the room is all the way thru the parts which eliminates the potential of scratching or metal exposure. Plus, Vinyl doesn’t dent.
Designer Colors
Transitions Sunroom Additions come in three designer colors to match any décor or architectural style. The sunroom structure, roof, and windows all come in White, Tan, and Clay. In addition, the colors can be mixed to create a particular look. Such as white windows with a tan room structure.

Much like a “dovetail” in fine cabinetry or a “mortise and tenon” connection in a hand crafted Amish barn, the patented interlocking and nesting connection system used in every Transitions Sunroom Addition creates a structure that is designed and engineered to last a lifetime.
Clean Appearance
Transitions Sunroom Additions are designed to have no exposed screws, unsightly bolt heads or visible fasteners. We’ve also left out “bent to fit” aluminum parts that have to be “stuffed” together to make them fit. All this makes for a seamless appearance that’s second to none.
Energy Star Certified Super Windows
The windows used in every Transitions Sunroom Addition are energy star certified and meet or exceed the most stringent energy requirements. We use Low E 3 glazing with Super Spacer insulated glass to create a space that is warmer in the winter and cooler in the summer. They are also one of the only window systems in a sunroom that meet the qualifications for the Energy Efficiency Tax rebates available thru the 2009 Stimulus bill. High Performance Insulated Glass system
Transitions Sunroom Additions use the highest performing insulated glass system in the industry. This “super glass” increases the energy efficiency over 5 times that of a standard sunroom. This is accomplished by utilizing special glass coatings that reduce heat loss in the winter and reduce heat gain in the summer, all while eliminating damaging UV rays from the sun that cause furnishings to fade and dull.

 Transitions Sunroom Additions come standard with Super Spacer Glass Insulating systems. This space age silicone foam creates the most energy efficient insulated glass system while reducing the potential of glass breakage thru its “cushioning” properties.
Heat Loss
 Heat loss in a sunroom comes from the transference of the heat energy that is used to keep the room warm in the cooler months. This occurs in 2 places with a typical sunroom; the aluminum wall structure or the insulated glass system. Transitions Sunroom Additions uses the highest performing and energy efficient systems in both the glass and the insulated wall system to maintain the lowest levels of heat loss in the industry.
Solar Heat Gain
 Solar heat gain occurs when glass allows the heating rays of the sun to penetrate through the sunroom windows. This drastically increases the interior temperature of the sunroom, creating an uncomfortably hot environment (or significantly higher utility bills to keep the space cool). Transitions Sunroom Additions come standard with Low E 3 high performance glass that block these heating rays, resulting in the lowest solar heat gain in the industry and keeping your Transitions Sunroom Addition comfortable for more of the year.
